Job summary

Leoch International in Ireland is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage month-end closing, bank reconciliations, and related schedules. You will prepare monthly financial reports and perform variance analysis, ensuring accurate records.

Responsibilities include liaising with external auditors and tax agents on audit and tax matters, coordinating GST submissions, and supporting annual audits and corporate tax tasks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and able to liaise with internal and external parties.

Responsibilities

• Handle monthly month-end closing and ensure timely and accurate accounting records.
• Prepare and maintain accounting schedules, including bank reconciliation and balance sheet schedules.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and perform variance and financial analysis.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax agents on audit, tax and accounting matters.
• Prepare and coordinate GST submission and ensure compliance with GST requirements.
• Assist with annual audit, corporate tax matters and related documentation.
• Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
• Perform other ad-hoc accounting and finance duties as assigned.
