Job summary

Securitas Technology Ireland is seeking a Service Engineer to maintain intruder alarm, access control and video surveillance systems across customer sites. You will undertake planned preventative maintenance and reactive service work, providing first-line technical support for fault finding and servicing while ensuring all work is safe, efficient and compliant with standards.

Qualifications

Experience with intruder alarms, access control and video surveillance.
Sound knowledge of security systems, fire systems and communications.
Understanding of IP-based security systems and networking.

Responsibilities

Maintain intruder alarm, access control and video surveillance systems to standards across customer sites.
Undertake planned preventative maintenance and reactive service work.
Provide first-line technical support for fault finding and servicing of security systems.
Respond to service calls and planned maintenance visits using PDA handheld system.
Work closely with the Service Manager and Service Desk to ensure excellent customer service delivery.
Maintain responsibility for van stock, tools, safety equipment and assigned assets.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and company procedures.
Participate in the on-call rota and provide out-of-hours support when required.
