Job summary

The Grand Hotel Malahide is seeking an experienced Reception Manager to oversee the reception team and ensure guests experience is second to none, with occasional duty management shifts.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, checking in/out efficiently, overseeing floats, and passing on detailed information to the next shift. You will develop your team, ensure training, and assist with recruitment.

Qualifications

• 2 - 3 years experience in a similar 4*/ 5* property
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to cope well under pressure
• Be flexible, adaptable, approachable and to lead by example
• Good command of English Language

Responsibilities

• To greet guests in a warm and friendly manner outlining the facilities of the Hotel
• Check in and out guests efficiently and professionally according to agreed Standard Operating Procedures
• To oversee that all Departmental floats are signed in and out in the correct manner
• To pass over correct and detailed information to the following shift ‘pass-over’
• To develop and motivate your team will be a key focus
• To ensure all mandatory training and SOP's are maintained
• Assist with the recruitment & selection process ensuring that we recruit the best in the business
