Job summary

Grand Hotel Malahide in Ireland is seeking an experienced Reception Manager to lead the reception team of our 4* property. You will ensure guests enjoy an outstanding arrival and departure experience and occasionally manage duty shifts to keep service levels high.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in a similar 4*/5* property with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in a similar 4*/5* property.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to cope well under pressure.
• Be flexible, adaptable, approachable and to lead by example.
• Good command of English language.

Responsibilities

• To greet guests in a warm and friendly manner outlining the facilities of the Hotel.
• Check in and out guests efficiently and professionally according to agreed Standard Operating Procedures.
• To oversee that all Departmental floats are signed in and out in the correct manner.
• To pass over correct and detailed information to the following shift ‘pass-over’.
• To develop and motivate your team will be a key focus.
• To ensure all mandatory training and SOP's are maintained.
• Assist with the recruitment & selection process ensuring that we recruit the best in the business.

We now have a fantastic oppportunity for an experienced Reception Manager to join our team at The Grand Hotel, part of FBD Hotels & Resorts . The successful candidate will oversee the management of the reception team and ensure that our guests experience is second to none! They will also be required to complete duty management shifts on occasion.
