Job summary

Crabby Jo's in Howth is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our busy seafood kitchen. You will support the Head Chef and play a key role in preparing and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard in a fast-paced environment.

You should have experience in a high-volume kitchen, a passion for fresh seafood, strong organisational and communication skills, and HACCP knowledge. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays is essential to keep our service running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up.
• Experience in a very high-volume kitchen environment.
• Passion for fresh food and seafood cuisine.
• HACCP knowledge essential.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard.
• Managing your section efficiently during service.
• Assisting with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste.
• Ensuring HACCP and food safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Supporting junior kitchen staff and maintaining strong teamwork.
