Job summary

Fruition Group Ireland in Dublin invites an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to strengthen our client’s automated testing capabilities within the financial services sector. You will design and maintain scalable automation frameworks across API, integration, and UI layers, work with CI/CD teams, and promote quality engineering practices throughout Agile delivery cycles.

The role requires 3+ years in SDET roles, strong SQL testing, and experience with Selenium, Cucumber,

Qualifications

3+ years in SDET, Automation Engineer or similar QA role.
Experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
Experience delivering automation across API, integration, regression and UI testing.
Contributing to test strategy development and automation planning.
Strong knowledge of BDD and automated testing principles.

Responsibilities

Design and implement automated test solutions for functional and non-functional testing.
Develop and enhance scalable automation frameworks for API, integration, and UI testing.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure testability and quality.
Define and contribute to test strategies for new features.
Execute automated and manual testing across the SDLC.
Support CI/CD through automated test execution and reporting.
Analyze results, identify defects, and drive issue resolution.
Promote quality engineering practices and testing workflow improvements.
Participate in Agile sprints and QA activities.
Report on test coverage and quality metrics.
