Job summary

IT Search has partnered with an Irish technology company to hire a Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join a high-calibre engineering team. The role emphasizes automation, test framework development, API and performance testing within a distributed environment.

You will work with engineers to embed quality across the SDLC. The ideal candidate brings strong automation testing experience (Python preferred, Java also considered), framework design skills, and proficiency with API

Qualifications

• Strong automation testing experience with Python preferred (Java also considered).
• Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Strong API testing experience.
• Performance and load testing using JMeter.
• Experience working with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQL/MySQL and Linux/Unix environments.
• Ability to work closely with software engineers to drive quality across the development lifecycle.

IT Search is exclusively partnered with an Irish technology company that develops highly scalable, real-time software platforms supporting large volumes of transactions across a global user base.

They're looking to hire a Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join a high-calibre engineering team focused on delivering reliable, performant software within a complex distributed environment. This is an engineering-led role with a strong focus on automation, test framework development, API and performance testing, with quality embedded throughout the software development lifecycle rather than treated as a final stage of delivery.

Key requirements:

• Strong automation testing experience with Python preferred (Java also considered)
• Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks
• Strong API testing experience
• Performance and load testing using JMeter
• Experience working with distributed systems and event-driven architectures
