Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Support Engineer to join the SATCOM Technical Support team. You will handle escalated satellite network issues, analyze performance data and configurations to restore service levels, and contribute to documentation and knowledge base.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, on-call experience, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive cases to resolution while ensuring customer satisfaction. Shift rotation and variable days off may be required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish (speaking, reading, writing)
• Experience in network and operating system support
• Background in L3 NOC operations with on-call experience
• Hands-on experience in network design, protocols and troubleshooting tools such as TCP/IP, BGP, SD-WAN, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, HTTPS, tcpdump, traceroute, mtr

Responsibilities

• Handle escalated cases involving service degradation and perform root-cause analysis.
• Analyze performance data and system configurations to restore optimal service levels.
• Develop and document technical solutions and contribute to knowledge base.
• Provide advanced technical guidance to customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex network issues.
