Job summary

Global Life Science Hub in Ireland seeks an experienced SAP Implementation Project Manager to lead a major ERP rollout at a Tipperary pharmaceutical site. The role spans manufacturing, supply chain, quality and IT within a live GMP environment.

The project involves an SAP implementation, data migration, UAT and change management to support readiness, training and go-live in July 2027. Strong stakeholder and governance skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience managing SAP implementations or major ERP transformation projects.
• Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain processes and ERP integration.
• Experience managing cross-functional project teams and third-party implementation partners.
• Knowledge of SAP implementation methodologies, project governance and change management.
• Experience coordinating data migration, system integration testing and UAT.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, competing priorities and tight project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, coordination and delivery of the SAP implementation at the manufacturing site.
• Develop and maintain project plans, implementation schedules, milestones and resource requirements.
• Coordinate activities between internal business functions, global IT teams and external SAP implementation partners.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, issues and change requests throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Oversee business readiness activities, including process mapping, data migration, system testing and user acceptance testing.
• Coordinate training, stakeholder communications and change management activities to support system adoption.
• Ensure implementation activities are appropriately documented and aligned with GMP, data integrity and applicable validation requirements.
