Job summary

QCS Staffing Ltd in Limerick, Ireland, seeks a Project Manager – Equipment Lead for an initial 12-month contract to drive large-scale equipment projects through design, FAT, installation, commissioning and qualification.

You will manage plans, budgets, timelines, resources and vendor relationships, coordinating cross-functional teams across Engineering, QA, Procurement, Validation and Operations, while driving safety and quality compliance and CE evaluations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil or related).
• Extensive experience managing CAPEX or large-scale equipment projects in Life Sciences.
• Experience with design, FAT, commissioning, qualification and handover.
• Experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead equipment projects from design through FAT, installation, commissioning, and qualification.
• Manage project plans, budgets, timelines, resources, and vendor relationships.
• Coordinate shipping, site installation schedules, and cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, Procurement, Validation, Operations).
• Ensure safety and quality compliance across the lifecycle, including CE assessments and equipment clearances.

Project Manager – Equipment Lead – Limerick, Ireland – Initial 12-Month Contract – Life Sciences

Limerick, Ireland is the hive of activity for the Life Sciences Sector at present with global players setting up new and expanding existing manufacturing facilities all over the World. An exciting assignment has arisen to support a global pharmaceutical organisation on a major expansion project based in the picturesque Limerick, on an initial 12-month contract.

What you’ll deliver:

• Lead and coordinate large-scale equipment projects from design through FAT, installation, commissioning, and qualification.
• Manage project plans, budgets, timelines, resources, and vendor relationships to ensure successful project delivery.
• Oversee equipment shipping, site installation schedules, and cross-functional coordination across Engineering, QA, Procurement, Validation, and Operations.
• Drive safety and quality compliance throughout the project lifecycle, including CE assessments and equipment safety clearances.

Experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil or related discipline).
• Extensive experience managing CAPEX or large-scale equipment projects within Biopharma, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Life Sciences environments.
• Experience managing equipment through design, FAT, commissioning, qualification, and handover.
• Experience working within GMP-regulated manufacturing facilities.
