Job summary

McDermott’s House Furnishers Ltd. in the West of Ireland seeks a Sales Manager to run the sales floor across Castlebar showroom and Ennis. You will lead the sales teams, ensure targets are met, and report to the directors as part of our growth strategy.

As a hands-on operator, you’ll be on the floor when needed, organise training, and uphold health & safety standards while taking ownership of results and customer satisfaction. West Ireland relocation benefit considered.

Qualifications

• Experience in furniture retail is a big plus.
• Calm, organised operator who values structure and getting things done.
• Strong leadership and ability to drive sales performance.

Last year we delivered to all 32 counties on the island.

We’re growing, and we need a Sales Manager to run the sales floor day to day.

The role

This isn’t a CEO or MD role. The vision, the plan and the roadmap are already in place. We need a strong operator to bring them to life.

You’ll be at the heart of the business, part of our ‘Operation Transformed’ team, reporting directly to the directors. That means:

• Running the sales teams and keeping them aligned
• Making sure targets are hit, and leading from the front by selling yourself
• Being on the floor when you’re needed
• Organising training and keeping on top of health & safety
• Taking ownership of the results

Who we’re looking for

A calm, organised operator who values structure, clarity and getting things done. You’re a leader, not just a manager, and people respect you for it. No ego, all action. Furniture retail experience is a big plus.
