Job summary

McDermott's Furniture in Castlebar invites applications for a detail-oriented Showroom Admin. This standalone, full-time role (Mon-Fri) is based at our Castlebar showroom, focused on accurate administration and smooth daily operations in a busy, people-facing environment.

You will process purchase orders, acknowledge orders, reconcile delivery dockets, schedule customer deliveries and handle customer service enquiries with warmth and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an administration or office-based role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with figures and documentation.
• Warm, professional manner when dealing with customers.
• Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities.
• Familiar with standard office software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders, acknowledge orders and reconcile delivery dockets against purchase orders.

We are now seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Showroom Admin to join our team at our Castlebar showroom. This is a standalone, full-time, Monday to Friday role, the home of all things administration in our business, suited to someone who is highly organised, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a busy, people-facing environment.

About the role

• Processing purchase orders, including acknowledging orders and reconciling delivery dockets against purchase orders
• Scheduling customer deliveries in an efficient and timely manner
• Serving as the first point of contact for customer service enquiries, handling them with professionalism and care
• Supporting the wider team with general administration as required
