Job summary

Conlans BMW Limerick invites applications for the role of Sales Executive at Tipperary Road, Limerick. A proven track record in selling premium new vehicles within a franchised brand is required.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will deliver a first-class service, conduct accurate part-exchange appraisals, and actively prospect for new and used car customers to create additional opportunities. You will follow the BMW/MINI sales process and ensure a thorough handover and customer briefing.

Qualifications

• Experienced retail car salesperson with a proven track record.
• Experience selling premium new vehicles in a franchised brand.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell new and used vehicles using an effective sales process while achieving strong profits.
• Deliver first-class service and customer experience.
• Carry out accurate appraisals of vehicles offered for part exchange.
• Prospect for new and used car customers to create additional sales opportunities.
• Follow BMW/MINI sales process and manage handover of sold vehicles, with full customer briefing.
• Introduce customers to Aftersales staff and facilities.
• Maintain regular contact with customers to encourage repeat business.
• Develop knowledge of products, accessories, prices and competitors.
• Ensure all customer information, sales activities and vehicle documentation is accurate and maintained.
• Participate in planning sales campaigns and promotions to maximise sales.
• Demonstrate strong communication and immaculate presentation.

As a result of significant expansion and increased volumes across our retail operations, Conlans BMW Limerick are looking to grow our team. We are now inviting applications for the role of Sales Executive in Conlans BMW, Tipperary Road, Limerick.

The ideal candidate for this newly created role will be an experienced retail car Sales Executive with a proven track record of selling premium new vehicles. Experience working in the motor Industry within a premium franchised brand is a key requirement.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the key responsibilities for the role will include:

• To sell new and used vehicles via the use of an effective sales process, whilst at the same time achieving the best profit for the business.
• Deliver a first-class service & customer experience
• Carry out accurate appraisals of all vehicles offered for part exchange.
• Using various sources, prospect for new and used car customers on a regular basis to create additional sales opportunities.
• Comply with the BMW/MINI sales process and manage the preparation and handover of sold vehicles to customers ensuring that the customer is given a full briefing on the operation of the vehicle and its controls.
• Introduce customers to Aftersales staff in order that they are aware of the facilities and procedures.
• Through the effective use of a follow up process, maintain regular contact with all new and existing customers to ensure that relationships are maintained for potential repeat business.
• Develop and maintain full product knowledge of all products, accessories, prices and key features of major competitors.
• Ensure all customer information, sales activities, vehicle documentation and other relevant information is kept and maintained accurately and comprehensively.
• To participate in planning sales campaigns and promotions to maximise sales.
• Demonstrating strong communication skills and immaculate presentation.
