Job summary

Versatile Group, an Irish designer bathroom and HVAC distributor, is seeking a Sales Estimator / Administrator for our HVAC business in Navan, Co Meath. You will support specification and commercial aspects, preparing quotations and proposals for HVAC systems, and develop strong product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is essential.
• HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation, or building services knowledge preferred.
• Experience preparing quotations, estimates, or project proposals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Pro-active, target-driven and customer-focused approach.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• SAP experience is advantageous.
• Willingness to develop technical and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Estimating and providing administrative and commercial support to the Commercial Team, including preparation of HVAC specifications and quotations
• Assisting with the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for heating, cooling, ventilation and associated HVAC solutions
• Providing technical and after-sales support to customers and project teams
• Working closely with European manufacturers and factories to obtain product information, pricing, technical documentation and project support
• Developing strong product knowledge across HVAC systems, equipment and associated technical solutions
• Liaising with the Warehouse Team to coordinate customer deliveries, stock requirements and logistics
• Supporting the Commercial Team with project enquiries, customer requirements and order processing
• Reviewing project requirements and ensuring quotations are accurate, competitive and aligned with customer specifications
• Problem solving, working on your own initiative and understanding the importance of excellent team cooperation
• Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where achieving sales and commercial targets is vital
• Maintaining accurate records, quotations and customer information using company systems
• Continuing to develop technical and product knowledge, which may entail training and travelling to European countries of manufacture

We are currently seeking a Sales Estimator / Administrator for our HVAC business, to support the specification and commercial aspects of the business. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic self-starter with the ability and passion for developing new business opportunities while nurturing existing customer relationships. An appreciation for technical products and experience in preparing detailed quotations, specifications and proposals for HVAC or technical building services products is preferred.
