Job summary

SRG is seeking a Health & Safety professional to own safety performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Shannon, County Clare. You will promote a positive safety culture, drive continuous improvement, and protect employee wellbeing.

With 2+ years in a Health & Safety role, you will conduct risk assessments, audits, trainings and investigations, supporting emergency preparedness and reporting. You will influence leadership and help shape safer workplace behaviours across the site.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Health & Safety role.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience in risk assessment, auditing, training, and incident investigation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proactive approach with the ability to influence positive behavioural change.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a positive health and safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, workplace inspections, and incident investigations.
• Deliver safety training, inductions, and awareness programmes.
• Support emergency preparedness, fire safety, and first aid arrangements.
• Analyse safety performance and recommend improvements.
• Maintain accurate Health & Safety documentation, records, and reporting.
