Job summary

Collins Aerospace Shannon is seeking a Site Environmental, Health & Safety Lead to drive EH&S compliance, lead culture of safety, and deliver continuous improvement at the Shannon site. This role partners with site leadership to embed safety and environmental responsibility into daily operations and to ensure regulator and company standards are met.

The successful candidate will lead investigations, risk assessments, training, and reporting, shaping capability, and supporting sustainability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or a related discipline.
• At least seven years of relevant EH&S experience.
• Manufacturing experience, preferably aerospace or chemical.
• Proven track record leading EH&S programmes and corrective actions.
• Strong risk assessment, audits, and reporting capabilities.
• Knowledge of ATEX, REACH, equipment safety, and ergonomics.
• EH&S qualifications/certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, CSP) or ISO 14001/45001 credentials.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead EH&S compliance and culture at the Shannon site.
• Drive risk management, investigations and corrective actions.
• Develop action plans and measure performance.
• Lead training and provide performance insights.
• Support environmental sustainability initiatives.
