Job summary

Linkedskills Expert Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager for a senior leadership role in a Dublin FMCG manufacturing environment. You will own the safety strategy, drive a proactive culture and influence leadership across operations, engineering, and facilities.

Initial months are predominantly site-based, with a focus on risk management, compliance, and continuous improvement to strengthen safety performance and ensure regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Experience leading health and safety in FMCG/manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and frontline staff.
• Track record of developing safety strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the organisation’s health and safety strategy.
• Promote a proactive and accountable safety culture across the operation.
• Manage and develop two direct reports across health and safety and facilities.
• Provide expert health and safety advice to senior management and operational teams.
• Ensure compliance with Irish health and safety legislation and company standards.
• Lead workplace inspections, audits and risk-management programmes.
• Lead investigations into accidents, incidents and near misses.
• Identify root causes and ensure corrective and preventative actions are completed.
• Monitor health and safety performance, trends and KPIs.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for the senior leadership team.
• Support projects from a health and safety perspective.
• Monitor contractor safety and compliance across the site.
