Job summary

The Rehab Group is seeking an RT Instructor for a fixed-term 12-month, part-time role based at 10 Drumfinn Rd, Ballyfermot, Dublin 10. The position involves training and development of Learners, co-ordination of QQI modules, and support for learners to progress to further education or employment.

The role requires a third-level qualification (Education/Training), a QQI Level 6 Train the Trainer, and strong knowledge of QQI requirements.

Qualifications

• Third level qualification, preferably within the Education/Training sector.
• Train the Trainer QQI Level 6 as a minimum.
• Knowledge & experience of QQI programme requirements, assessment procedures and quality assurance processes.
• A number of years relevant occupational experience of working with learners in educational/ guidance contexts.
• Experience in working in a mental health related area is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate, deliver and assess QQI modules.
• Provide systematic training according to curricula; maintain records for learner progress and quality standards.
• Mentor learners by example, meetings and feedback on progress.
• Develop resources appropriate to each module.
• Report to the Centre Manager on programme delivery and learner progress; address attendance and welfare issues.
• Perform additional duties as required by Centre Manager.
• Collaborate with National Learning Network and local stakeholders as required.
