Job summary
The Rehab Group is seeking an RT Instructor to deliver the Rehabilitative Training Programme at The Diamond Building, Roosky, Monaghan. You will work with learners with varying needs, including ID and ASD, to develop personal, social and vocational skills in a supportive, person-centred environment.
Applicants should have third-level education in Youth/Community Work or related fields, and a minimum Train the Trainer qualification, with experience in specialized training and working with people
Qualifications
- Education to 3rd-level standard in Youth and Community Work, teaching or adult education.
- Minimum Train the Trainer qualification.
- Experience in a specialized training environment.
- Experience with intellectual disabilities and ASD.
- Experience of person-centred keyworking.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the RT programme with competence and creativity in a person-centred environment.
- Maintain records of learners’ progress and quality standards; produce required reports.
- Carry out one-to-one key working and support Individual Action Plans.
- Evaluate rehabilitative and vocational needs and produce learner profiles.
- Support individuals of mixed abilities and varying needs in classroom and other environments.
