Job summary

Reporting to: Site Manager / EMEA Key Account Manager

Responsible for: Day-to-Day Supervision of on-site team & security operations.

Location: Dublin 2

Schedule: Weekdays primarily (Adhoc support or flexibility required due to the business needs)

Role Type: Permanent, Full Time

Travel: Occasional requirement for international travel, workshops, or off-site training sessions.

Position Summary:

The RSOC Shift Lead provides shift oversight, tactical incident management, and operational leadership within the RSOC. The Lead oversees shift personnel, ensures high-standard monitoring of client assets and global personnel, drives quality control, and manages major incident escalations. Additionally, the Shift Lead acts as the initial Incident Commander during critical events, oversees intelligence output, mentors junior operators, leads operational projects, and manages continuous team training and workflow refinement.

Key Responsibilities

Shift Supervision & Operations:

Supervise deployed RSOC operators on shift, ensuring full supervisory coverage, balanced task distribution, and compliance with operational standards.

Conduct 1-on-1 engagements, performance monitoring, and coaching with shift personnel.

Maintain operational quality control, ensuring accurate logging, thorough handovers, and strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Identify opportunities for workflow improvement, process innovation, and technology utilization to enhance RSOC efficiency.

Refine workflows and SOPs based on industry best practices, client feedback, and post-incident reviews.

Support event security operations and handle shift coverage or special assignments outside standard operational hours as required.

Incident Command & Intelligence Oversight:

Serve as the tactical Incident Commander for high-severity events, critical global threats, or localized emergencies.

Direct threat-intelligence operations (NC4 Risk Center, Dataminr, or equivalent), ensuring rapid processing and dissemination of actionable risk alerts to stakeholders.

Oversee travel safety workflows, ensuring high-risk travel alerts are effectively distributed and acted upon.

Draft, review, and issue executive notification alerts, flash reports, and escalation updates to senior business leaders and cross-functional teams.

Act as the senior operational liaison between internal business departments, client executive teams, and external emergency services.

Develop and deliver standardized training modules, onboarding plans, and refresher training for RSOC operators via the LMS platform.

Lead security-related projects from inception to completion—ensuring deliverables are completed on time, on brand, within budget, and within scope.

Prepare comprehensive operational reports, analytical summaries, and executive presentations.

Ensure timely, accurate reporting and post-incident debriefs following significant events.

Skills and Qualifications

Certification / Training:

Must hold a current, valid Private Security Authority (PSA) License.

Formal leadership or people-management training covering leadership styles, delegating responsibility, setting performance standards, conflict resolution, and performance monitoring.

Technical Skills:

Advanced capability with enterprise Access Control Systems, CCTV management platforms, and mass notification tools.

Expertise in global risk intelligence applications (e.g., NC4 Risk Center, Dataminr) and traveler-tracking platforms.

Proficiency in business and management productivity suites (e.g., Google Workspace: Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms) and RSOC management software.

Communication Skills:

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (Fluent / Advanced English).

Demonstrated ability to compose clear, executive-level situation reports under high pressure.

Core Management & Leadership Attributes:

3 - 5 years of progressive experience within a RSOC, SOC, ARC, military, or emergency command center environment, including direct team-lead or supervisory experience.

Demonstrated crisis management leadership with strong critical thinking and decision-making capabilities using incomplete information.

Strong data analysis skills with the ability to identify patterns, security trends, and system anomalies.

Proven ability to multitask, delegate responsibility effectively, manage competing priorities, and consistently hit deadlines.

Proactive, highly organized, and committed to operating with complete integrity and professionalism.
