Job summary

Responsible for: Day-to-Day coordination of security operations.

Location: Dublin 2

Role Type: Permanent

Remuneration: €24.00 per hour (rising to €25.00 per hour upon completion of 6 months)

Position Summary:

The RSOC Operator operates within a fast-paced Regional Security Operations Center (RSOC) environment, serving as the frontline defense for system monitoring, incident triage, and protecting client infrastructure, assets, and personnel. The RSOC Operator monitors access control, CCTV, and global threat intelligence feeds, evaluates potential risks, answers emergency calls, and dispatches appropriate responses. This role requires active participation in operational projects, maintaining high standards of system health, and executing clear communication across departments and international travelers.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Incident Triage:

Answer and manage routine and emergency calls in a professional manner.

Continuously monitor alarm systems and video equipment, including fire alarms, door access alarms, and duress alerts.

Monitor radio traffic across local and remote sites to maintain situational awareness.

Evaluate global incidents that may impact client offices, facilities, and personnel, escalating promptly to security management and secondary business units.

Monitor Travel Notifications, leverage travel-tracking platforms, and alert corporate travelers regarding potential localized risks or safety impacts.

Use specialized tools and platforms to conduct information gathering, research, and threat intelligence analysis.

Provide general security assistance and guidance to employees, vendors, and guests.

System Health & Technical Operations:

Manage the access control system (PACS) alarms and carry out operational administrative tasks.

Perform routine health checks on Access Control, CCTV networks, and operational security software to ensure proper functionality.

Identify operational or technical anomalies and submit timely maintenance requests or system fault escalations.

Communication & Project Support:

Act as an operational liaison between all internal departments, external vendors, and response teams.

Disseminate critical information using established communication vehicles following security best practices.

Take an active role in position-related projects, ranging from project consultation to full ownership based on individual skill and development goals.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all incidents, shift activities, and emergency escalations.

Undertake reasonable and lawful duties pertaining to the role as directed by line management.

Skills and Qualifications

Certification / Training:

Must hold a current, valid Private Security Authority (PSA) License.

Technical Skills & System Exposure:

Desirable exposure to access management control systems (e.g., Lenel, Genetec).

Desirable experience with Travel Tracker or similar traveler-safety platforms.

Desirable experience with NC4 Risk Center, Dataminr, or equivalent global threat-monitoring platforms.

Solid working knowledge of security systems, alarm monitoring procedures, and SOC protocols.

Communication Skills:

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (Minimum B2 level proficiency).

Ability to synthesize raw information into clear, concise incident summaries and notifications.

Core Attributes & Functional Skills:

Previous experience within a RSOC, RSOC, SOC, Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), or similar high-consequence operational environment.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills under time-sensitive conditions.

Ability to multitask, prioritize incoming alarms, and meet operational deadlines.

Proactive approach with high attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining integrity and confidentiality.

Customer-service orientation with the ability to remain calm, professional, and composed during emergencies.
