Job summary

Egis Group in Ireland is seeking a Graduate Engineer to join our structured Graduate Programme, accelerating your development across energy and sustainable projects. You will work with seasoned engineers on design, construction and delivery, gaining exposure through rotations that span disciplines and project lifecycles.

Essentially you should have an Honours degree in electrical engineering, with strong numerical and communication skills, and a willingness to travel to sites.

Qualifications

• Level 8 honours degree in electrical engineering with at least a 2.1.
• Postgraduate qualification in electrical power systems or energy would be advantageous.
• Progress toward Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland or similar.

Responsibilities

• Understand electrical engineering fundamentals and three‑phase systems in projects.
• Interpret single-line diagrams, electrical drawings and technical data clearly.
• Apply strong numerical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills in design and delivery.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively.
• Utilise MS Office, especially Excel and Word for documentation.
• Support site visits, field investigations and project travel when required.
