Job summary

DSV Air & Sea in Ballycoolin, Dublin, is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support our warehouse operations and ensure high service standards. You will work on stock control, picking, receiving, and moves within a fast-paced logistics environment.

The role requires experience in warehousing, reliability, teamwork, and a strong commitment to safety. Familiarity with IMI/WMS and MHE such as a power pallet truck is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Reliable, organised and detail-oriented.
• Clear communication and teamwork.

• Able to learn warehouse systems quickly.
• Experience with MHE such as power pallet truck or counterbalance forklift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hygiene and safe handling of goods and housekeeping standards.
• Liaise daily with customers to meet service expectations.
• Develop relationships to understand customer needs and enable proactive support.
• Ensure compliance with customer procedures; investigate issues and take corrective actions.
• Operate IMI/WMS and manual stock control systems.
• Perform inventory functions: picking, receiving, stock counting, cycle counting.
• Offload and reload imports/exports.

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-orientedWarehouse Operativeto join our team in Ballycoolin. In this full-time role,you'llplay an essential part inmaintaininghigh service standards for our customers, supporting warehouse operations, and upholding health and safety protocols.

What will you be doing?

• Focus continuously on employee welfare, hygiene, dangerous goods handling, and housekeeping standards.
• Liaise daily with customers in a professional and courteous manner to meet or exceed service expectations.
• Develop strong working relationships and maintainan understanding of customer needs to enable proactive operational support.
• Ensure full compliance with customer procedures and investigate any service issues, implementing corrective actions promptly.
• Operate both computerized (IMI/WMS) and manual stock control systems.
• Perform core inventory functions including picking, receiving, stock counting, and cycle counting
• Offloading and reloading imports/exports

About You

• Haspreviousexperience in a warehouse orlogisticsenvironment (preferred).
• Is dependable, organised, anddetail-oriented.
• Communicates clearly and works well in a team.
• Takes pride in delivering excellent service andmaintainingsafety standards.
• Can quickly learn and work with warehouse systems and procedures.
• Has previous experience with using mhe. Power pallet truck / Counterbalance etc.
