Job summary

DSV - Global transport and logistics in Naas is hiring a Freight Forwarder to support healthcare logistics operations. The role focuses on planning shipments, maintaining compliance, and ensuring patient-related supply chains move safely and on time.

You'll work in a 37.5 hour week with some weekend cover, collaborating with carriers, internal teams and customers. This position suits someone with freight forwarding experience and a strong eye for detail in GDP-compliant workflows.

Qualifications

• Freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain experience essential.
• Exposure to healthcare/pharma logistics advantageous.
• Graduate background with strong healthcare logistics interest.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• High accuracy and attention to detail in compliance documentation.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong sense of responsibility.
• Digital confidence, including TMS/WMS or tracking tools, or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily shipments (groupage, LTL, FTL) with healthcare focus.
• Ensure on-time delivery while protecting product integrity in cold chain.
• Apply GDP standards in all operations.
• Use validated packaging and temperature monitoring solutions.
• Monitor shipments using tracking systems and respond to risks.
• Ensure accurate invoicing, billing, and file closure.
• Maintain precise digital records for audit and compliance.
• Liaise with carriers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Manage deviations, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Support cost control while maintaining quality and service.

Freight Forwarder

Naas

Hours Mon- Fri, 37.5 per week, some weekend cover

What will you be doing?

• Planning and executing daily shipments (groupage, LTL, FTL) with a focus on healthcare logistics
• Ensuring on-time delivery while protecting product integrity, including cold chain shipments (2-8°C, ambient, frozen)
• Applying GDP (Good Distribution Practice) standards in all operations
• Using validated packaging and temperature monitoring solutions
• Monitoring shipments using tracking systems and responding proactively to any risks or delays
• Ensuring accurate invoicing, billing, and file closure
• Maintaining precise digital records for audit and compliance purposes
• Liaising with carriers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure reliable service delivery
• Managing deviations, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions
• Supporting cost control while maintaining high quality and service standards

About You

• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain (essential)
• Exposure to healthcare or pharmaceutical logistics (advantageous)
• Alternatively, a graduate background in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Life Sciences with a strong interest in healthcare logistics
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• High accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in compliance documentation
• A customer-focused mindset with a strong sense of responsibility
• Digital confidence, including experience with TMS, WMS, or tracking tools (or willingness to learn)
