Job summary

Rhenus SE & Co. is seeking an Operations Support professional to understand client shipping needs and develop comprehensive logistics solutions. You will build strong client relationships, resolve shipping issues, and assist with documentation, tender responses, and quotations.

The role covers freight forwarding, road transport, and hazardous goods compliance, with exposure to Standard Trading Conditions and international contracts. Strong MS Office and IT systems proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in export operations or freight forwarding is desirable.
• Strong understanding of shipping documentation and customs processes.
• Ability to read and interpret shippers' instructions and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive customer service by understanding client shipping needs and developing logistics solutions.
• Review and process shipping documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and accurate records.
• Assist with tender responses and quotations and coordinate with carriers for rates and schedules.
• Support freight forwarding activities and ensure smooth operation across road transport, international contracts, and hazardous goods handling.
