Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an Assistant Engineer to join the Ireland Roads team in Limerick. This role involves leading the design and project management of major national road and active travel schemes, ensuring successful project delivery and client management.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management and technical delivery of road or public transport schemes.
• Knowledge of TII/NTA/Local Authority procedures essential.
• Experience in contract document preparation or administration using Public Works Contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects ensuring coordination of multi-disciplinary inputs.
• Liaise with clients and develop trusted relationships.
• Prepare fee proposals and manage project budgets.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and quality assurance standards.
