Job summary

WSP Ireland is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead the Ireland Roads Team in Dublin. You will drive the design and project management of major national road schemes and active travel projects, coordinating multi-disciplinary inputs and delivering high-quality designs.

The role requires Chartered/ Incorporated Engineer status with 5+ years in roads/public transport schemes, and a strong focus on client management and delivering on time and budget.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status preferred.
• >5 years post-qualified experience in road/public transport schemes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Ireland Roads Team in Dublin.
• Deliver preliminary and detailed designs for national road schemes and active travel projects.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary inputs and manage client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with design standards and project management guidelines.
