Job summary

RAD Search is partnering with a Cork studio seeking an experienced RIAI Qualified Architect with 5–8 years post‑qualification experience. You will lead projects through all RIAI stages from concept to on‑site delivery, coordinating with consultants and guiding design development and technical construction.

You will produce and review technical information, support design decisions, and ensure design intent is carried through to completion.

Qualifications

There’s a positive flow of work running through a well-established Cork studio, and they are now looking to strengthen the team with experienced RIAI Qualified Architects.

Based in the heart of Cork, this is a studio that has built its reputation through consistently well-designed, thoughtful architecture. Projects are across a range of typologies, residential and housing, commercial, office and workplace, mixed‑use and more.

The Role

This position is suited to an RIAI Qualified Architect with circa 5–8 years post‑qualification experience, with strong exposure to Irish project delivery and a confident understanding of both design development and technical construction.

You’ll take a leading role across projects, working through all RIAI stages from early concept and planning through to detailed design, construction, and on‑site delivery. This is a role for someone who is comfortable carrying responsibility within a team, coordinating with consultants, and helping to guide projects through their technical and delivery phases.

You should be confident producing and reviewing technical information, supporting design decisions, and ensuring design intent is carried through to completion.

Salary

€62,000 – €72,000

Dependent on experience and seniority
