Mount Charles in Ireland is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently. The role requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently and take initiative. You will manage cleaning tasks, ensure safety, and maintain equipment.

Working Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• 19:00 – 22:00
• 15 hours per week

The Role

• Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards, including weekly and periodic tasks
• Use cleaning chemicals safely according to COSHH guidelines
• Maintain full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and agents, and use them only after correct training is given by the Line Manager
• Report immediately any faulty equipment, mark it as faulty and cease use
• Use safety signage appropriately at all times (e.g., wet floor signs) and warn customers where possible
• Keep cleaning stores clean, tidy and store equipment correctly and safely at all times
