Job summary

BWG Foods UC seeks a Retail Technology Advisor on a temporary basis to coordinate support and growth of mission-critical IT systems across our stores and retailers. You will manage multiple projects through all phases and oversee third-party suppliers with strong stakeholder engagement.

The role requires knowledge of retail technology, networking, and EPOS systems, along with ownership mindset and excellent communication skills. Nationwide travel is part of the role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in retail tech/IT.
• Strong understanding of retail tech, networking and IT.
• Experience with KPIs and SLAs.
• FMCG grocery industry knowledge.
• EPOS experience in independent retail.
• Proven ownership and project management.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate support and growth of mission-critical IT systems across stores.
• Deliver and manage projects through all phases.
• Manage third-party suppliers and service agreements.
• Own retail technology in company-operated stores and liaise with stakeholders.
• Identify efficiencies using technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain user documentation on core procedures.
• Support stores on queries and troubleshooting.
• Travel nationwide; oversee transitions from project to operations.
• Other projects as directed by management.
