Job summary

Choice Stores in Carrickmacross is opening a new store and seeks a Team Leader to join the launch. The role blends hands-on leadership with operational focus, guiding the store team and ensuring a smooth shopper experience from day one.

You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to drive customer service, merchandising, and daily routines. A background in retail leadership and a passion for coaching others will help you grow with the team.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in retail or team leadership preferred.
• Strong people skills and excellent communication ability.
• Confident multitasker in a fast-paced environment.
• A genuine interest in developing others and progressing in retail.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service.
• Partner in day-to-day leadership and support of store team members.
• Drive performance through coaching, motivation and clear communication.
• Contribute to merchandising, visual standards and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and company policies.
• Support till checks and close-up procedures.
• Foster a positive, inclusive work environment where everyone feels valued.
