Job summary

Choice Stores is opening in Carrickmacross and is seeking a Team Leader to join the store leadership team. You will work with the Store Manager to deliver an exceptional customer experience and keep the shop floor running smoothly while fostering a positive, professional environment.

With 1–2 years in retail or team leadership preferred, the role suits someone who is energetic, enthusiastic and skilled at coaching others to develop teams for internal progression in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail leadership or supervision preferred.
• Strong communication and people skills essential.
• Energetic, proactive, and able to coach others.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service
• Support store team members in day-to-day operations
• Coach and motivate staff to achieve targets

Your Role:

As a Team Leader, you will be a vital part of the store leadership team, working alongside the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in delivering an exceptional customer experience. This hand-on role blends operational focus with team support, helping to keep the shop floor running smoothly while fostering a positive, professional environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service
• Partner in the day-to-day leadership and support of store team members
• Drive performance through coaching, motivation and clear communication
• Contribute to merchandising, visual standards and stock control
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and company policies
• Support key daily routines such as till checks and close up procedures
• Foster a positive, inclusive work environment where everyone feels valued
