Job summary

Avoca Malahide is seeking a responsible full-time Retail Team Lead to support the management team and oversee daily store and café operations in a busy retail environment. The role includes opening/closing duties, cash handling and customer service management, with emphasis on teamwork and brand presentation.

The ideal candidate has experience in retail or food service, a track record of taking responsibility, and a flexible, detail‑oriented approach to work to ensure smooth day‑to‑day

We are looking for a responsible full time Retail Team Lead to assist the management team in Avoca Malahide on a full-time permanent contract. Duties of the Team Lead include opening and/or closing duties of the Avoca Malahide store and/or cafe, assisting with day-to-day running of the department, and supporting the management team in a variety of different ways.

The Team Lead's responsibilities include cash handling, cash reconciliation, assisting in running the daily employee breaks, customer service queries and supporting the management team in various capacities. The ideal candidate should have experience within the retail or food industry and have a proven track record of seeking responsibility.
