Job summary

Company Details Confidential is seeking a Retail Operations & Business Data Manager in Dublin to oversee day-to-day store management and advanced data analysis.

You will extract transactional data, build dashboards with Excel/SQL/BI, forecast demand, and analyze margins to drive pricing and inventory decisions. The role also covers staffing, compliance, and cost controls across fresh and grocery sections.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: Level 9 or higher, or data analytics/computer science background.
• Ambitious analytical thinker with strong data skills and business sense.
• Experience with data tools and reporting is essential.

Responsibilities

• Extract, clean and process transactional data from POS and retail databases.
• Design daily, weekly, monthly dashboards and KPI reports using Excel, SQL and BI tools.
• Forecast demand using sales history, footfall, promos and seasonal trends.
• Perform variance analysis against forecasts and budgets.
• Analyze margins, basket composition and purchasing behaviors to inform pricing.
• Oversee admin paperwork including financial reporting and audits.
• Audit stock loss, waste and shrinkage to drive cost controls.
• Prepare strategic summaries for store directors.
• Manage floor operations, staff rostering and labor budgets.
