Job summary

Morgan McKinley Ireland is seeking an analytically driven Commercial Analytics professional for a fast-moving consumer goods environment. You will consolidate data from distributors, retailers, and e-commerce to inform strategic decisions and drive growth across markets.

Using Excel and Power BI, you will build dashboards, deliver regular reporting, and translate complex data into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders across Marketing, Finance, and Sales in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years' experience in FMCG, consumer analytics or related field.
• Strong ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience with retail, distributor or market data.
• Experience with Nielsen/Circana/IRI or similar datasets is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate and analyse a range of commercial data, including distributor, retail, sales and e-commerce information.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and regular reporting using Excel and Power BI.
• Produce accurate analysis and insights for monthly and quarterly business reviews.
• Monitor market and commercial performance, identifying key trends and opportunities.
• Turn data into clear commercial insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Assess potential new markets and monitor launches.
• Analyze pricing, promotional activity, distribution and sales performance.
• Identify factors influencing market and category performance.
• Coordinate reporting timelines and deliverables across projects.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across functions and markets.
• Contribute to international business reviews and launch discussions.
• Support category analysis and competitor reviews.
• Use insights to contextualize market performance and growth opportunities.
• Connect customer insights with commercial results.
• Incorporate insights into business reviews and market assessments.
