Job summary

Atlantic Arcade is seeking a General Manager to run day-to-day operations in a fast-paced retail club in Ireland. You will lead a small ground-level team, focus on customer service, and drive profit and performance with strong commercial awareness.

Candidates from retail or hospitality management backgrounds (4+ years) are encouraged. You will manage accounts, costs, and promotions while maintaining high standards and staff development under the guidance of an established business.

Qualifications

• General manager experience at store manager level or above (4+ years).
• Strong planning and organisation skills.
• Excellent communication, written and verbal.
• IT proficient with Word and Excel.
• Ability to coach and develop staff.
• Commercial acumen and cost control.
• Ability to manage budgets and cash flow.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the club.
• Build relationships with customers and ensure responsible play.
• Lead and develop Supervisors and Customer Assistants.
• Analyse weekly and monthly financial figures and act on findings.
• Manage costs within the budget.
• Recruit and develop talent for long-term success.
• Maintain high standards and shop cleanliness.
• Coordinate promotions and feedback with marketing.
• Liaise with the Operations Director.
