They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Floor Manager to join their retail management team. The ideal candidate will have strong retail experience, excellent leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining high standards across the shop floor. This role would suit an ambitious retailer who enjoys driving sales, managing stock, ensuring excellent merchandising standards and keeping daily operations running smoothly. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and motivating the team, overseeing day-to-day shop floor activities, monitoring sales performance, handling customer queries and complaints, and ensuring the store remains well presented, fully stocked and compliant with health and safety standards. They will also work closely with senior management to improve performance, develop colleagues and deliver the best possible shopping experience.
The store is located in Co. Meath. The role involves a variety of shifts, including opening, midday and closing shifts during the week, with limited late evening work at weekends. Candidates with their own transport may find this particularly beneficial, depending on their location and shift times.

• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings and evenings.
• Oversee the day-to-day running of the shop floor, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure customer enquiries and complaints are handled professionally.
• Support staff training, development and performance management.

• Oversee day-to-day shop floor operations, ensuring the store runs efficiently and maintains the highest standards, running promotional cycles smoothly, and addressing availability and stock storage.
• Act as a Duty Manager once to two times weekly, ensure the store closes and is prepared for the next trading day
• Manage supplier relationships, pricing strategies, and stock control to reduce waste and optimise efficiency.
• Lead, supervise, and develop a team, ensuring excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally, implementing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, increase footfall, and boost retention.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of sales targets and retail KPIs.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and busy trading periods as required.
• A proactive attitude, strong sense of responsibility and willingness to support the wider management team
• Experience in stock control, merchandising and shop-floor operations.
