Job summary

Blue Forge Recruitment is seeking a Fresh Food Assistant Manager for a busy Offaly store. The role requires 3-4 years in deli management or supervisory experience in a fast-paced retail environment, with a strong focus on sales, stock control, and customer service.

• Support the Store Manager in the overall management and smooth day-to-day operation of a busy, professional, high-standard retail store.
• Monitor sales performance, analyse results, and implement strategies to achieve and exceed store targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Oversee stock management, including deliveries, replenishment, stocktakes, inventory accuracy, and loss prevention.
• Support the implementation of promotional campaigns, product launches, and commercial initiatives to maximise sales opportunities.
• Manage cash handling, till operations, banking procedures, and end-of-day reconciliations in line with company policies.
• Ensure full compliance with company procedures, health and safety regulations, security standards, and operational guidelines.
