Blue Forge Recruitment, in partnership with a leading Retail Convenience Forecourt Group, seeks a Fresh Food Manager for Co. Cork, near Fermoy, Kilworth and Shanballymore. The role oversees deli operations, with an emphasis on fresh food, staff supervision, and ensuring high food standards.

Candidates should have deli/food retail experience, strong organisation, and the ability to start early. 36 hours per week, with competitive salary and staff discount.

Responsibilities

• Manage 4-6 staff, organise workloads, and ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Work with Retail Manager to monitor sales, manage stock levels, and reduce waste.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and HACCP records are up to date.
• Maintain high standards across all deli departments and staff meet expectations.
• Train and support deli staff to follow procedures and improve department performance.

Retail Fresh Food Manager Co. Cork Blue Forge Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading Retail Convenience Forecourt Group, operating an extensive network of stores across Munster and some parts of Leinster. Fresh food is a core pillar of their business and a key differentiator within their retail model. Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced candidate with a background in fresh food, fast food, catering, deli operations, or a similar environment to join their team. The store is located near Fermoy, Kilworth, Shanballymore, and the surrounding areas. Due to the early morning start times, candidates with their own transport are preferred. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Deli Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the deli and day-to-day operations. This job also requires supporting the team, maintaining high standards, and ensuring customers receive an excellent level of service. • Previous management experience is an advantage.
