Job summary

Primark Stores Limited in Galway is seeking a part-time Retail Assistant for 11.5–14 hours per week from September to January. You’ll help customers, keep shelves neat, and process till transactions to provide a friendly shopping experience.

Shifts include Sundays and Saturdays; Monday to Wednesday 3:00 PM–7:00 PM and Thursday to Friday 1:00 PM–9:30 PM. Benefits include pension, staff discounts, holidays, and opportunities to progress internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with an amazing experience helping with sizes, styles, purchases or returns.
• Set up an attractive shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms and stocked stockroom.
• Deliver fast, friendly till service, handle queries, voids and returns.
• Receive, unpack and price deliveries, ensuring products are on the shop floor meeting high standards.

This is a part-time role offering 11.5 to 14 hours per week from September to January.

Availability Requirements:

• Full availability required on Sundays and Saturdays
• Monday to Wednesday: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• Thursday and Friday: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM

Candidates must be available to work the above shifts and demonstrate flexibility to support business needs.

What will I be doing?

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you help them with things like sizes or styles, purchases, or returns
• Setting up a good-looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms and all the latest fashions, as well as keeping a tidy and well-organised stockroom
• Delivering a fast, friendly, efficient experience at till points, processing queries, voids, and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products on to the shop floor and ensuring they’re all correctly priced - all while making sure everything meets our high standards
