Avoca Ireland is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP function within the retail sector. You will supervise the AP team, ensure timely invoice processing, and uphold accuracy and compliance across the organisation.

The role collaborates with vendors and internal teams to optimise processes, supports automation initiatives, and contributes to month-end close and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounts payable experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Retail industry experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Supervise day-to-day accounts payable operations and invoice processing.
• Oversee reconciliation of AP transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, accounting standards and policies.
• Lead and develop a team of AP specialists; assign workload and deadlines.
• Build relationships with vendors and negotiate payment terms.
• Support automation initiatives and ERP/system optimizations.
• Prepare AP reports and assist audits.
