Job summary

Fortis Recruitment in Ireland is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to join a busy Finance team on an 11-month fixed term contract. You will handle end-to-end AP processing, vendor setup and payments, and support payroll, tax and accounts production.

The role requires a third level qualification in Finance or Accounting, 1+ years in AP, strong Excel/Access skills, ERP experience, and attention to detail to handle large volumes of data.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable or similar finance role
• Experience with end-to-end AP processes is preferred
• Strong Excel and Access skills, attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable from vendor setup to payment
• Process invoices and purchase orders
• Reconcile supplier statements and aged creditor balances
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting tasks
• Support payroll, tax and accounts production as required
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
