We are looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join the Food & Beverage team at Eyre Square Hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the hotel restaurant, ensuring an exceptional guest experience while maintaining high standards of service, food quality, hygiene and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of the restaurant, ensuring consistently high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
• Lead, motivate and develop the restaurant team, creating a positive and professional working environment.
• Recruit, train, coach and supervise restaurant staff as required.
• Organise staff rotas and ensure appropriate staffing levels for breakfast, lunch, dinner and busy periods.
• Ensure excellent standards of customer service and deal professionally with guest feedback and complaints.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient communication and smooth service.
• Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation and service standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, health & safety and hotel procedures.
• Monitor stock levels, wastage and ordering, working to agreed budgets and cost controls.
• Assist with achieving departmental sales, revenue and profitability targets.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene throughout the restaurant and associated areas.
• Assist with hotel functions, private events and other Food & Beverage operations when required.
• Carry out regular service checks and ensure hotel standards are consistently maintained.
• Support the General Manager with operational and administrative duties.
• Ensure all company policies, procedures and licensing requirements are followed.
