Job summary

O’Neill & Brennan Ireland is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a restaurant fit-out project in Dublin. You will oversee day-to-day site activity, coordinate subcontractors and labour, and ensure works progress to programme while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

This role requires reading drawings, managing on-site QA, liaising with the Project Manager, and delivering snag-free completion on schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Manager on fit-out projects.
• Strong experience managing subcontractors and labour on site.
• Previous experience on commercial, hospitality, restaurant, retail, or similar fit-out projects.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety and quality standards.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage the site independently and work to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the site and ensure works progress in line with the programme.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades, and labour on site.
• Supervise all aspects of the restaurant fit-out, ensuring works are completed to a high standard.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Monitor progress, quality, and health & safety on site.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, subcontractors, and wider project team to ensure smooth delivery.
• Manage snagging and ensure works are completed efficiently and on schedule.
