Candidates should have 5+ years in site management, a construction background, and knowledge of health and safety requirements. Salary is €70k-€80k with a strong emphasis on quality and programme delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in site management.
• Proven experience on fit-out, facade, refurbishment, or similar projects.
• Trade or technical background.
• IOSH or equivalent health & safety training.
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, RAMS, and technical documentation.

O Neill & Brennen are hiring on behalf of Our client is an established contractor delivering high-quality construction and fit-out projects across Ireland. They are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day management and delivery of a Fitout & Facade project in Sligo. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating site activities, subcontractors, health and safety, quality, and programme, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Job Summary:

• Manage the day-to-day running of the site and coordinate all site activities.


• Coordinate subcontractors, specialist trades, deliveries, and resources.


• Review and approve RAMS, SPAs, permits, and relevant site documentation.


• Monitor progress against the construction programme and identify any delays or concerns.


• Conduct site inductions and coordinate daily Whiteboard Meetings.


• Ensure all Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental procedures are implemented on site.


• Manage site logistics, exclusion zones, interfaces, and sequencing of works.


• Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity, resource levels, and quality.


• Maintain accurate site diaries, records, ITRs, and project documentation.


• Coordinate client and consultant site inspections.


• Manage NCRs, snagging, and BCAR requirements through to completion.


• Ensure works are completed to the required quality, programme, and safety standards.


• Attend progress, buildability, pre-mobilisation, handover, and Site Manager meetings.


• Liaise with Project Managers, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 5+ years' experience in a Site Management role.


• Proven experience on fit-out, facade, refurbishment, or similar construction projects.


• Trade or Technical background.


• IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety management training.


• Safe Pass and Manual Handling.


• Strong knowledge of construction processes, Health & Safety, and quality requirements.


• Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, RAMS, and technical documentation.


• Strong leadership, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.


• Construction Management qualification or relevant degree is desirable.


• Temporary Works & Excavation Safety, Working at Heights, Lifting & Cranage, and permitting training would be advantageous.


• Experience with digital construction management systems is desirable.
