Job summary
Enable Ireland is seeking a motivated Respite Support Worker to join CHO8 Children Services in County Meath. The role involves supporting children and young people through a person-centred approach, with afterschool and weekend respite.
Contract is 12 months fixed term, 23.4 hours per week (0.60 WTE). Salary scales €35,070 - €42,440 pro rata per annum, with annual leave and staff benefits. Driving licence, eligibility to work in Ireland, and experience in disability services are required.
Qualifications
- Formal qualification in Health Care including FETAC/QQI Level 5 NVQ /City and Guilds.
- At least 1 year experience of working with children.
- Experience of working in a disability service.
- Full manual Driving license and access to own transport.
- Must be eligible to work in the state.
Responsibilities
- Provide respite services to children and young people in County Meath.
- Work with children/young people through a person-centred approach to meet identified needs during afterschool/weekend respite.
