Job summary

Enable Ireland is seeking a Person in Charge to lead the Respite Services in Co. Wicklow, overseeing staffing, budgets and the delivery of high-quality respite and residential care.

The post requires HIQA knowledge, professional registration, and a track record in senior or supervisory roles, with experience in disability services; full driving licence and eligibility to work in Ireland are essential.

Qualifications

• The candidate holds a relevant degree in social care, nursing, or equivalent.
• Must be professionally registered and eligible to work in the state.
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in a similar environment.
• Minimum 3 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Experience working with adults with disabilities, including challenging behaviour.
• Eligible to work in the State.

Responsibilities

• Oversee respite services for children and adults in Co. Wicklow, including staffing and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and Enable Ireland policies and procedures.
