Job summary

Delta Centre CLG is expanding its Adult Respite Service in Ireland and seeks Social Care Workers to join a compassionate team. The role centers on person-centred supports for adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, promoting independence and quality of life.

The position is full-time (156 hours per 4-week roster), with shift, evening and weekend work involved. Applicants must have the right to work in Ireland; driving licence preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in the field of social care is essential.
• Proven competence in care and support of adults with intellectual disabilities.
• Genuine interest in this area.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each resident experiences dignity, respect and choice.
• Support residents in achieving independence and personal development.
• Review and apply person-centred plans for each resident.
• Adhere to policies, safeguarding, health and safety requirements.
• Foster community involvement and documentation updates.
