Job summary

CoAction West Cork seeks a Support Worker for the Skibbereen Residential Services. The role is a permanent contract for 28 hours per week and offers a competitive hourly rate with waking night, Saturday allowance and Sunday premium.

Qualifications

• FETAC level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent.
• Relevant qualification inLearning Disabilities/Social Studies/Social Sciences/Nursing/Childcare.
• First Aid.
• Desirable: FETAC level 6 Train the Trainer qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and support programmes in the training centre and group homes.
• Assist in personal care of service users as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and promote safety at all times.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team within the organisation.
