Qualifications

• QQI Level 7 degree in Social Care or equivalent recognised in Ireland.
• Eligibility for CORU registration as Social Care Worker.
• Minimum 6 months’ recent experience supporting individuals with complex needs.
• Understanding of autism and person-centred approaches.
• Full driving licence and ability to work flexible rosters.
• Right to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred supports according to individual plans.
• Support residents with daily living, personal care and social participation.
• Promote independence and active decision-making.
• Assist in developing practical, social and life skills.
• Facilitate access to community activities, education and employment.
• Contribute to PCPs and care plan reviews.
• Maintain accurate records compliant with policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families.
• Promote safeguarding and wellbeing, while following legislation.
